switching a 98 civic coupe from a automatic to five speed everything mechanical finished but
car will not turn over all lights and everything else works anyone have any solutions

 

Check all your grounds? Is your starter installed correctly?

 

is it cranking?? double check wiring etc

 

Make sure you have the tranny ground strap from the tranny to the chassis connected well

 

def. check ground

 

did you do the wiring correctly in the center console to set the car to neutral, so the starter will crank, also you don’t need to wire it in park to pull the key, there is a very small 2 pin connector under the key cylinder in the steering column pull that out, the plus to this is that the lights on the dash will not light for the automatic stuff
