first off, why would you go ls head when its not vtec? and second ya i think you would have to sleeve the block with it out of the car. iv never seen anyone do that inside the bay. good luck

go b16 not ls head of if you got mony get the type r head cause it comes pnp from the factory.

Use the search feature and you will find a million threads on the CRVTEC. If you are going to go VTEC which will get you more power cheaper then the gsr head will get a little more compression than a b16 head, I believe. Also throw in some higher comp. pistons and forged rods, sleeve it, bearings, arp studs on everything, balance everything, cams, valvetrain, etc..there are tons of options to make a mild to killer engine.

I agree. A 2.0L crvtec/GSR-ITR yielding around 12:1 Comp. ratio is amazing baaAAAWWWW scremin'!

deff invest in some cams 404-2 i would think would push the most pwoer...after that try to get a diff intake manifold skunk 2 is a good match uop with this motor....and after that get your car tuned for fuel and timin and youll have a decent motor...then start thinkin abuot playin with the compresion........this is just advice that i would do with that motor....and deff do not put an ls head on this motor lol i have n Ls-vtec and i wouldnt suugest putin a ls head on it
