2001+ guage cluster bulbs?
Hi there, I have a question about the bulbs in the 2001+ civic guage cluster. I drive a 98 honda civic and the stock guage cluster bulbs are not a pure white their kinda ugly. And a few times when i'm drivin on the road and i see a 2001+ civic drive by me at night i see that the guage cluster bulbs are a bright white, pure white as white as the head light bulbs u buy to look like u have HID bulbs. They look awesome. And i want that look in my car. I had white face guages in my car for the last 4 years and i miss the stock honda cluster look. And theres no white face gauges that have a pure white color, its either green or blue. I wanna try Piaa extreme white bulbs size 194, but i'm not sure if it will do it. So my question is does anyone know what the bulb sizes are and how many are there.? And do you think if they fit they will light up as bright in my car? Thanks..
dont know about the 01 civics but im pretty sure those are LED's. Open up your cluster and look behind it, should be either torx screws or phillips. Takes about 2 minutes to check
I know how to remove my bulbs and replace them but my question is what kind of bulbs are in the 01+ civics that make them such a pure bright white color. I own a 98 civic and i don;t know anyone with a 01+ civic to find out.
