Recently purchased a power steeering pump from a member. I was told it was a Power sterring pump from an H22a (JDM). it was purchased for a 99 SH but the mounting bolts do not come close to lining up. Just wanted to find out if these are different, making it my mistake, or if they are the same, meaning i was sold a different pump than he said it was. also there are no serial numbers on the purchased pump to compare to.

the serial # off the original pump is P5M004188X followed by
SCS-1B if that helps.

Honda Factory service manual does not indicate different pumps, but i doubt it covers the JDM. any help clearing this up is appreciated.

 

It could be a 4th gen pump. Those are different from 5th gen pumps.

 

even on an H22a? so the same motor in 4th's may have a different accesory layout?
