Default talk about bad news...

So Ive had the h22 from hmotors installed since early october and for a month it was fine and ran great. But its been in the shop more than its been driven for mounts, alternator and so on. But to make matters worse it stopped kicking into vtec so we replaced all sensors and changed the oil. Then the oil light began coming on at idle. we figured out that the oil pressure wasnt too low and figured it was the oil pump. Well a brand new one made no difference. So this means the bearings are bad right? Well spending 3000 dollars on a full swap from hmotors I am hoping I atleast get a new short block from them because believe it or not my total expense on having this swap is now over 4 grand and I am running out of money that I thought I would never have to spend. So what should I expect from h motors. Since It was delivered in september. Also the only mods done where intake and exhaust. I also changed out everything h motors says to, like the wires, dizzy, rotor, plugs belts and tensioner.

i'd post this in GDD instead. However, to me it sounds more like install error than hmotors' fault...

You're going to have to back up and print out a copy of their Warranty, and start cross checking to make sure you've satified their pre-instalation requirements, that you haven't exceeded their time allocation, Basically you've got to decide if you've screwed yourself or not.
THEN it will be up to them to determine just how good a warranty they've got, and how honorable their business practices are
.

......and did you notify them of the problem prior to replacing the oil pump? Hopefully you called them the moment you noticed this and have kept them in the loop.
If you didn't, they just may use that as the excuse to bail out from under this claiming unauthorized repairs during the Warranty Period.
I'm not trying to heap misery on top of frustration, but I want you to have a "Heads-up" on what the possible argument will look like.

This is just another example of some of the pratfalls involved in Internet and out-of-state commerce.
Another one for the "Internet Suck(s)-o-Rama" file
