my red 91 dx has been stolen, then one i just sold.. the guy had it for 6 days before someone jacked it out of the shopping center.. stolen in chula vista, but can be anywhere in san diego/so cal

repainted/dented out passenger fender

Skunk2 U/R strut bar, Neuspeed U/F strut bar, Plasma Booster, DC 4-2-1 headers, generic intake, SI panels, SI seats, EDM cluster, 89 integra ecu.. griffin aluminum radiator, (thats all as far as visual things)

that sucks, no offence at all but why would someone steal such a stock crx dx (other than the mpfi and rims). If i was a thief i wouldnt take anything less than a gsr. You guys must have a tuff time keeping your cars in socal huh?

I sense a scammer... Unless you/him have full coverage on it. Then.. o'well.

Take him to court my friend, it was in his posession, he owes you for it.
I'm sure there are some good people on Base that can walk you through the paperwork process to sue him if he says "sorry can't pay you now"
I think the wait is about 6 months and the court can order him to pay in full by selling assets if he has to.

Oh yeah. and i'm sure they stole it for the stickers

 

cars are hard to keep here in socal, these theives will steal your car just to take the coner lights and rims. It happend to me. They left all the valuables like the sir fornt end and jdm console.

And yes exactly what you would think, no one's gona jack a pretty much bone stock whip. They be boostin primered *** EFs w/ jap fronts,rims, and completey stock POS singel cams in them... Man I hate being paranoid of my ride getting jacked, since I do live in So Cal and I fit into that category

My buddies had 2 over 10 grand Hondas get jacked from him, and after the first one he was alway paranoid until it finally happened again. My other buddy on the other hand believes that being paranoid about it happening,means your waiting for it to happen. He leaves his doors unlocked any and everywhere he goes...

there was a lot done to it.. sorry if it was wasnt completely "riced" out.. is that what you consider not being stock?

its the 2nd time its been stolen, and has been broken in 4 times not including the theft.

anyways.. the cops found it in less than 24 hours. were going to get it on monday

im just really worried about the engine because it has a really nice p/p rebuilt head, and crower camshaft... umm.. guess ill find out on monday

 

Well, good to hear they found it so quick.

My buddy's 92 gsr is probably burned to a crisp in a ditch in Mexico somewhere. Stolen over 2 months ago and still no word.

That sucks. I had my muffler sawed off in my driveway off a crx. Nothing special either.

Ya ridiculous. I knew there was a downside to battery powered saws.

 

My 1994 Red civic cx got stolen last june, I know how shitty the feeling is not knowing who. then a week later I found my shell on side of road with tow strap cut. No more B16a2 w/ lsd no mo exhaust no mo springs they took everything I owned. Still nothing turned up, I learned my lesson and am equiping my b16 crx with all the alarms and whistles. hang in there man just try let go and it gets better fast.

 

what part of san diego was it taken from? any anti theft devices?

it was taken from the Chula Vista shopping center, and recovered somewhere north in san diego..

no it didnt. the guy i had sold it to didnt put anything on.. when i had it.. this is what my anti-theft looked like..


maybe not the safest in the world, but itll definently make someone think twice about stealing it (especially in the daylight)

 

Nice to hear that the CRX was recovered. Sucks for my friend who got his 00 Si stolen in Chula Vista Mall Today.
