something to think about.
a cnc is a copy machine. It will copy a good port of a shitty one just depends on what is programed into it.

CNC porting is consistent because its programmed to cut and grind on the same axis of the port; whereas hand port differs from port to port resulting in inconsistent flow, but with a person with great deal of porting knowledge, air flow consistency is very close.

Hand ported takes more time. Usually more expensive. Can be tailored to a specific cam.

CNC takes less time and is more consistent port to port. Can be tailored to a specific cam if you have $4,000 plus to spend (development, digitizing ports, etc). Only downside to CNC is it leaves machining marks, but these are usually smoothed out by hand afterwards.

Thats my knowledge on it.

Wouldn't you want that though? I mean, wouldn't that aid in turbulence helping to atomize the fuel better?

To a point it could. If you know someone who CNC ports heads, ask if you can see one before they hand finish it. The marks are much bigger than you would like.
