Default Help, my cruise control stopped working, I replaced the cruise control unit, but still doesnt work,

I have a 98 Civic Ex, my cruise control just stopped working. I checked the fuse, and also changed the cruise control unit. But it still doesn't work. The cruise control light turns on, but my car slowly decelerate. Please help, I want to get this fixed.
