Default 5th Gen TRansmission options HELP PLEASE!!

hi there guys.. my transmission on my 99 (base) just died w/ 105k miles. My insurance would cover the new one and most of the labor.
My mechanic sugested to get racing gears and rebuilt it (it would cost the same as buying the spec one for the car, the transmission for the 5th gen run around 3200)

However I was trying to save some money ( i could get about 1 thousand) and do some other upgrades in my car by buying a used or an accord transmission.

So, that said, what can I possibly fit in that car? any other h22 tranny? What about the accord transmissions? Would any of these bolt on my car?

Please help me w/ this one guys!

m2b4 is a transmission code, kind of like h22 and h23 are for motors. a m2b4 transmission is a 97-01 japenese prelude s-spec (not to be confused with prelude type-s) transmission. it is a 5 speed with a factory lsd (limited slip differential), and it will bolt up to your motor and you can use the stock axles too. i'm trying to buy one at the moment and haven't been able to find one...anyone know where to buy them?

I would send the tranny to GearSpeed.com rebuild ( bullet proof ) or custom the gear if you want
