Can anyone tell me where they got their bulbs for their corner lights to make them yellow? I haven't been able to find a yellow one for that kind of bulb This is for the 4th gen. Not the turn signal/blinker, but the actual corner light in the headlight housing. Thanks.

I've check auto zone, advanced auto parts, and wal-mart. None of them had yellow bulbs, just white.

 

not to threaf jack but, do the led ones they sell on ebay anygood?

 

don't check those stores such as autozone and what not.(lights are illegal, therefore they won't carry it). go to your local import store or something or get it on line.. get those raybrigs, hybrigs or forgot what it's called.. better brand the yellow will shine more. For the cheap ones that are basically colored by a marker will eventually fade and looks all dull. And for the ebay i don't know about that, what do you want to use the LEDS for?

Are you talking about the USDM corner lights? I put yellow bulbs in mine. I got mine from Pepboys. It looks SOOOOO much better. With white bulbs, they look like a rusty white.

 

i'm using just regular 194 amber bulbs i got from wal-mart for my corners and i think it looks pretty good. I'm not sure what it would look like with pure yellow bulbs but i know that Raybrig makes them. Here's a picture of my corners.

I like it. I like the clear corners on my 93, but I hate that they're white at night. It looks too rice. I'm going to buy yellow ones this weekend, now that I know that they look that good.

Now that you mention it, you're absolutely right! The stock white ones do look like a crappy white color. I think I will change mine to yellow also.

 

yea i think it was 194 they have the white and amber ones i got them from advanced auto parts i think it was the same kind of bulb as the turn signals

AndyD, actuallly i'm talking about the corner for the JDM 1 pieces, but they are the same bulb anyway. I totally agree that they can look rusty/ugly dim white. My problem is i have some kind of white bulbs for my low beams, so with that rusty off colored white, next to it you can REALLY tell the difference.

Amber LED's

 

cant really tell the difference between amber leds and amber bulbs from those pictures but it looks good by the way. Are those HIDs you runnin on reflectors? Emits a nice color. , but must be pretty blinding for whoever's in front.

 

EOE, so do you have LED's that are 194's or did you have to splice them or something? Where brand and price btw?

 

i saw some amber leds from autozone they were 9.99 for a pair
it had 4 lights n u can move them like they are connected to a wire but u can pull them away from each other

 

^^^^ Those the ones I bought... they just started selling those 3 months ago.

Can't remmember the name or price. They are plug & play tho. Ni splicing, it is 4LED's and you can bend them to the sides so that way the light spreads. I did that, But it is WAY cooler if I didn't do it. Because during the day time all you see is two amber Dots.. only at night time it spreads... I bet if i didn't touch them even at night it would be just two bright bright dots.. now thats hot haha. Good idea. Ill just take them out and bend them back into a pack of 4 so they dont spread the light.

I just bought these lights from autozone and installed them today....I cant wait to see what it looks like at night...I had just regular amber lights in the corners...but they looked like a light yellow color. Should be nice now!
