Default 2000 GSR wiring harness question................

Ok I have done a 2000 GSR swap. I am using the 2000 gsr engine harness, distributor, and under dash harness. I have a 97 Type R cluster and am using a 95 gsr computer. The problem is that I can't get the tach to work. I went to Acura and got a print out of the tach. And this is what I found.

98-99 uses pulses generated from the ignitiopn control module.
2000 model DOHC VTEC motors uses pulses generated through the ECU

The wiring harness for the 2000 Gsr has no tachometer wire. Since it uses pulses from the computer and not the distributor there was no need for a wire. I have this swap in a 92 Si hatch. In the hatch there is a wire by the firewall on the driver side where you can tap into the tach. I ran a hard wire straight from that wire to the back of the guage cluster and still no working tachometer. So I need to know how to wire up my tach so it will work. I have even tried splicing directly to the 95 GSR ECU. Still no luck. Any of you guys have any idea how to do it if there is no wire to tap in to? Also my turn signals are still not working. Is this in the harness too? Please help. Thanks

This is suppose to be the TECH forum. Is there not any actual technicians in here? Or at least someone that knows what they are talking about?

The 00-01's get the tach signal from the NEP wire. It's A19 on the 00-01 ecu plugs. 96-99 integras get the tach signal from the ICM wire, A20 on 96-99 ecu plugs. Email me for a diagram that might help you out. rwbdm6@umr.edu
