does it work? whats the percentage of owners getting their car back? is it work worth it?

 

I've heard a lot of good about it, just the only thing is you have to report your car stolen before it is completely stripped and dumped somewhere, but its gonna be one of my next add ons.

 

Find out what kind of insurance rate discount you can get if you install a locator. Then you can determine how long it takes for the cost to be absorbed by this discount. This might help your decision...

But the effectiveness of LoJack is greatly determined by how quickly you can detect your car being stolen. If theives have enough time to disable a poorly installed locator, then it's no use. Paging alarms + Remote Locator/Disabler =

There might be more cost effective ways. I see more digging in your future...

some insurance companies won't discount having lo jack since it is a theft recovery system, and not an anti theft device

 

lo jack also has another add on to it. it came out not too long ago. its called early warning. its a square the size of a transmitter that fits on your keychain and beeps when ur car is in motion. it beeps as soon as the car is in motion with out detecting that transmitter in the car.

 

About how much does this run?
