Default Koni yellows - Is there are different types?

Hi all,
The dealer here in isreal told me that in koni yellow kit (the one that comes with springs) the strut is shorter then in the indivisual set on koni yellows.
Is it true?

What type does all the people use with Ground Control Coilover?

Here's the kit:

As for differences i know the koni yellows im using have an adjustable damping, and also has three perches where you can set the spring at.

The Koni sport kit (with springs) does not include shortened shocks. Only the "Race" version has shortened bodies (and no warranty). If you going to get Ground Controls, just get the standard sports.

Koni also makes a sport kit with built in threaded coil-overs. I don't know much about them, but they are gold (instead of yellow), and look really nice. I don't know if they cost more than Koni/GC, but it may be something you want to look into...

the neuspeed kit has a few modifications to the standard koni yellow including an extra internal spacer that limits the maximum extended length of the shock rod, which limits droop, but does not make the shock shorter or change when the shock rod bottoms out.

as far as i know, that koni sport kit with the springs are probably the same as the normal ones, otherwise, i imagine we'd have heard of the differences by now. but im sure you wont have to wait long here to get the official answer from koni....

And here it is. The damper in the 1130 Sport Suspension kit is a normal Koni Sport and is not shorter. The damper in the 1150 Threaded suspension kit is just a little shorter in max length/droop limiter on the front and the rear is the normal length.

The RACE units that were mentioned are shorter bodies but they are made only for the North American market and not available through any Isreali dealers.

so is that the same as the neuspeed kit? just to make sure.

About similar I think but to be honest if the car is on the ground and operating then this means nothing whatsoever so I haven't really committed it to memory. I can look it up next week though.

Thanks for the answer, I'll talk with the dealer again...
To buy GC I'll have to ship it from US and pay taxed by myself... and it would be too pricey

So for now I'm buying Koni yellow's as a kit or with some other springs (Eibach maybe)...

But I want to have the option to switch to GC in the future...

Where is a good place to get koni's from? I have seen multiple, but i'd like to get the best deal. Also for gc's on a crx where do they offer the custom rates? Or will i get integra rates. Sorry to sidetrack here, but i guess it's kind of on topic.
