brake caliper color?

well i did have a honda, but i just bought a 99 mit eclipse spyder and the kid that previously owned it painted the calipers silver and it looks horrible, someone told me that i could take them off and take them to a machine shop to get sandblasted and paint them to the color that i want, is this true?

Use aircraft srtipper carefully. Should take care of it.

just scuff it and spray over it.

take off calipers...then spray away.
