My setup is a ls/vtec
Ls bored out to 85mm darton sleeves cp 12:5:1 pistons, eagle rods, b16 head ported and polished, type-r mani 70mm edelbrock tb, b16 trans, 440 rc, micro polished crank, bc4's, aem intake, gonna send the manifold out to get ported and honed and port matched to the throttle body but I don't know what header to choose from. I am kind of favoring the rage header right now but just wanted a second opion on this.

 

Any one?

 

if $$$ is not an issue i'd go with something like smsp, hytech, rmf etc......

You really couldn't go wrong with a RMF/SMS/DTR/or if ,money wasn't really an issue...I'd like to see someone dyno the Burns'

i just got put on the list for an rmf narrow header. my setup. 85mm golden eagle sleeved gsr, 13.5:1cr arias piston, 1" deckplate, 89mm stroke. toda spec c cams. i cant wait to put it is

 

RMF/DTR/SMSP/Hytech.....those are all the top of the line choices and it is DAMN hard to choose between them. I've been goign back and forth on a RMF or a SMSP for about a month now.


Although the burns products look absolutely fabulous.

 

I know its real hard to choose so many brand of good quality headers out there but I think I am gonna try something different and try out the rage header and see what happens but still not a 100% on that or dtr!

 

I think the rage header will be a good choice, if you search there is a shoot out from 909 on the dtr, rage and another header, that should give you some heading

 

I know I seen that thread and it seems like a good quality header and cost half the price off those other headers. But I still can't choose most likely it will be the rage header cause I wanna go with something different from what everyone else is using and it seemed to make pretty good power.

 

The Hy-tech and the Rage header are the same headers and here is A shoot out with the Hy-tech and everybody else.

joo are wrong......the rage header is like 600 dollars cheaper than the hytech. Hytech also has a patent so there again they cant be the same.

 

Your right Hi-tech does have a pat..And yes they are the same.So that must mean that Rage is getting them from Hi-tech.Or why isn't John speaking up?

I take it you didn't look at the link that I left you.THE HY-TECH (Rage) GOT LAST PLACE.Now how is that a good choice?The only GOOD thing is the price.If it made power.

 

What are some of the prices for some of those other headers? I know what the dtr runs. I never priced the smsp or rmf
