Default CRX Swappin?

i know this has been covered, but i just came across a good deal on a crx,and have very little time to pick it up or let it go,soooo reeealll quick....

i have a complete gsr swap(mounts, linkage, axles, wiring, ecu,EVERYTHING)ou t of my totalled 95 gsr OBD1.now,will this mount directly into a 90 crx dx with the stock gsr mounts?the only problem i see is the car being obd0,so i figure the ONLY thing i will need to purchase is an obd0-obd1 conversion harness (unless you can tell me another way to do it).

thanks for the quick help guys!

Nah,,you need a b-series mount kit..hasport,hcp,place racing, arizonarace machine, ebay mounts,etc..Also your dx only has 2 injectors (dpfi),,You have to convert the harness to (mpfi) 4 injectors..As well as converting to obd1..And you can use the integra shft linakge but you have to shorten it or you can buy a pre made one ..(hasport,hcp,place racing ,etc..) After that, you just add the wires in your harness for vtec and add the wires for the iab's assuming you still have the stock gsr intake manifold..And if you use the obd1 injectors you dont need to use a resistor box..

EDIT :: ****, almost forgot if you use the hydro tranny off the 95 gsr, you have to get the hasport cable to hydro mount kit or convert some other way..Or find a cable b-series tranny

But a gsr powered crx is more fun then a 92+ civic..

You dont have to switch to obd1. You can use b16a injectors and distributor and get a aftermarket IM and a PR3 ECU and your good to go Thats what i did

The swap in a CRX will be well worth it.

its better to go obd1 for future tuning capabilities

i would stick with all your obd1 hardware and dish out a 100 bucks for a harness, you thank me later
