cat for R
where can i get a good price on a highflow cat that my R will like and will pair well with say the JDM R header? Any other good flowing headers for around the same price as the JDM R one? I know the spoon one's awesome but i dont really want to pay 1k for one. Also where can i get these at? thanks for any help.

not sure if r and d have them but, http://www.randdmotorsports.com
its like 900-1000, and for a stock setup, you're not really going to feel too much of a difference...if you plan on modding more heavily in the future, the smsp is a great header

///but a jdm header is like what..400? is the DC sports JDM header the same or does the real JDM R header work better?///
There are several disadvantages to having the DC vs. the jdm r header..any other header I would not personaly mess with. The JDM header has proven to me to be a capable flowing header, as much as 11 sec all motor cars.I really cant say to much as to the performance of the dc header other than the fact most dyno's will tell you to stick with the jdm.Comparing dyno's of the 2 it looks like a dead even heat
but it also looks like the JDM header performs alot more smoother up top rather than the chopy Dc replica. If you have a lowered car the dc header is not for you...thant thing sits so low your bound to bend those tubes. The only thing the DC has going for it are the looks,If your looking for nice welds and shiny finish the the dc has it.
The DC header is also sold in Japan for 1000 us dollors(seems like they like our **** as much as we like there ****)Funny.....
which ever header you decide will be a good choice..just cant see spending a grand
for a header in Japan or in the US.
