I'm sure you can find them cheaper than that.

Exactly. $250 for an axelback is a joke IMO.

they also sell just the ws muffler that you can have welded in. but if you have the old style n1 that goes under the rear subframe, you probably won't be able to use the ws muffler.

I have a straight pipe with my N1, it's pretty loud but I like it that way.

I ran my dirty-d w/ my N1 and stock cat, it was pretty damn quiet suprisingly.
Then i dropped-in the LS and put a resonator in-place of my cat.... I am now in the market for a different muffler, it's just too-loud now. Either-that or Im getting old ...cause I'm sick of the chainsaw on steroids sound.

Does it really make a difference? I'm assuming all Civics have the same exhaust setup for an EX/DX/LX etc.

Ouch. I would look for the exhaust in the classifieds though. It's a really common exhaust, I always read about a lot of people using it.

hell be better off buying an axle back than just the ws muffler unless he wants the ws to be on a slant unless you have a shop cut and reweld straight
