my buddys rsx is fast ideling, i told him to look for it and he cant seem to find it gah i hate these cars lmfao no offence. does any body know where its located?

I believe you are referring to the part located under the TB. It is directly underneath the TB and is one part along with where the coolant flows in and out below.

 

why dont you share some other useful info about this...like when its doing it and such things

 

yeah lol the civic guy has it right what a surprise. man rsx guys, i just dont know about them i told my roomate thats where it was at and he cant seem to find it i guess when i go home ill have to fix it for him

 

if that fixes it ill be suprised....he prolly needs to clean his ivac and a few others

then again it could be ecu related...but normally with a rsx when the idle is off its not to do with a "fast idle valve"...lol

 

why dont you just take off the air intake and look at the throttle body?

 

yeah its doin the thing where sitting still it revs to like 25-3k. Im not in the same city as my roomate i still have a few exams to do. So i cant look at it till i go home tonight.

thats not a "thing" that sounds like a problem. If you can fix that by adjusting a set screw or cable i will be surprised. But its worth the try.

 

lets see i told him to spray some carb cleaner in his tb where the holes connect it to the fast idle vavle and it cleared right up. recently had the same problem with my prelude irony is a bia.....
