time for you to get a new distributor. when the tach starts to jump that's the number one sign of a bad dist. looks like you're out 200 bills. good luck

u might be able to get away with changing the ignitor in the dizzy, did u take it up to higher RMP? if the ignitor is going, the tach should jump all over the place after like 5000 and ur car may miss.

easier than spending $$ on a new dizzy if that ur problem
