Default GSR Crank in B16 block

I've searched this topic but I can only seem to find info on doing a ls crank into a b16. I am trying to figure if I can get away with oem pistons (looking for something arround 11.5:1) or will I have to go custom.

Yea you're not going to be able to run any type of OE piston with a GSR or LS crank. I personally run LS rods and crank in a B16 block with custom Arias pistons.

interesting, does it work sinces the b16 sleeves are shorter than the b18's. Any block notching involved.

nope just a custom raised wirst pin location...BEWARE: there is alot of confusion and drama about premature oil consumption with these raised wrist pin pistons etc...

I am currently under the impression that this setup DOES work.
However you need custom pistons or rods.

People keep saying custom pistons is the way to go to keep the rod/stroke ratio the best.

What does everyone think about custom 129.10mm rods, while using b16a block, gsr crank, usdm b16a pistons, and a b16a head?? Calculated some #'s, static compression is about 11.46:1, and piston-deck height is 0.022 inches (stock b16/b17)
