Are SK2 Pro3 cams street frieldly for a DD ??? I want a set of cams to make 230whp on pump gas without ITB's, but still be a smooth DD.....If not Pro3's, will Pro2's meet my goal ???

very similar to my motor. i have Pro3s and made 271BHP.

I dont know if i would say DAILY DRIVER friendly.

 

My Pro2's seem to do just fine for daily-driver duty.

 

I would do Pro2's the 3's really want to rev to 9500 and above and need the support system that goes with that.

where do the pro 2s max at?

 

D-Rob recently posted dyno sheet of the Pro2's I sold him. I think about 190-193 hp, about 8200-8300 peak, on his setup. I think his thread is 3-4 pages back.

Also, that was with stock timing maps. My tuner has not had a chance to fully tune the engine on the dyno yet.

How much suppot does the 3's need ??? With a fully built motor from top to bottom, P&P, sleeves, 85mm, the whole 9.....230whp is the goal.....

 

u should be able to make 230 with out pro 3's,
but the pro 3's should give a better chance on making more power.

 

yo is 210whp w/ pro 1's realistic? 12:1 b18c1 pnp head ect ect ect....

 

I THINK THAT this motor is "overcammed" just my opinion i would rock the stage 2's
