Default EF LS-VTEC which pistons?

well i have plans for building my ls block for my ls vtec. the head is already done.. my question is which setup are u guys running with forge products on ur LS-vtec and i want to know how ur liking them. list the pro's and cons, specs, and i'm startin to look towards je pistons for the LS block but on their site they don't make it for LS so which should i get. this is going to be my first build on my ls block, it had pr3 piston and rods in it until it got messed up. also if there are any gaskets or lil things i need to buy for the block like oil pan gasket or bearings (unless bearing comes with the product when you buy it) its goin to be all-motor daily driven. no nirtrous or turbo... thanks

i would go oem again

P30 pistons (or PR3 or JDM ITR)
arp rod bolts
oem rings
acl bearings (standard size)
LS head gasket
gsr timing belt
B16 or B18c oil& water pumps
and all new gaskets all around

depending on the cams and I/H/E you can make around 190-220 whp

PS: if you dont have traction bars you should get some, EF's have horrible wheel hop due to their stock suspension configuration

my bad, i meant to say LS head gasket, i am switching over from an LS vtec to a gsr right now so i hve alot of mixed things in my head

as far and gaskets go you should get
-intake manifold
-exhaust manifold
-cam seals
-water pump

i would also recomend getting some vtec oil and water pumps

PM me fore deatils and ill let you know what a good set up would be and it would save you money too

i have a built ls/vtec and i would use jdm itr pistons..i have the 82mm and compression is 11:8 265 psi.runs great on 93 pump gas.use oem b18 a/b head gasket..make sure your oil port tap seals..use some quick steel over it after screwing it in..also make sure you get a vtec oil pump..
