Default Need HELP PLZ: shaft going through the distributer hard to turn, will the D15 distributer work w b1

I think my distributer is bad, the shaft that runs through the distributer that goes into the head will not turn unless you pry it using a screw driver. Should it be this hard to turn. If the distributer has to be replaced will the one off my d15 SOHC non vtec engine fit on my B16 engine. Thanks

I assume you have it removed from the car when trying to turn it.

The one I have sitting here I can spin with my little finger...

haha, yah I can see somebody trying to turn a dizzy while its on the car... that **** is hysterical, its attached to the camshaft, make sure if you take it off, you remember which direction it was pointed.
Cars dont run well with the dizzy 180 degrees the wrong direction.
