converting to obd1
i have a ob0 hf crx obd1 ecu obd2 motor i got the obd0 jumper harness i know i need to get the obd0 engine harness but will i need new injectors and dizzy and distributor the shop im talking to said i wont that they will work is this tru and what else do i need to do this
As stated already what obd2 motor is it and did it come with the obd2 engine harness? Also dizzy=distributor. Anyway since you have obd2 injectors if you were to get an obd0 engine harness you would just need to eliminate the resistor box, and you would just need to repin the distributor since it will be wired up for obd0 and it is an obd2 distributor.
i would use obd0 injectors, just to keep it eazy. And also get the stock harness, make sure its the same year and model as your car. For the obd-2 distributor it only has one plug but obd0 and obd1 have 2 plugs. since you have a obd2 harness cut the distributor plug off and make a short harness that goes from the obd2 plug then to the stock plugs. Hope that helps
