99 Accord Coupe
Hi, my first post (and my first Honda
)
I've got a '99 Accord Coupe 2.0 ES, which so far I'm happy with!
I have a question about the interior material though... Did these cars ever come with a PVC-type leather (fake leather)? Or was it only available with either real leather or fabric?
I thought at first that it was just a low quality leather (by the feel of it) - but now I'm thinking that it might not be leather at all.
So... ?

Nice car by the way, will probably be my next ride as well; once one of the '97's takes a powder.
As far as I know, it's real leather. I'm not aware of Naugahide being used in this application.
One way to determine for yourself is to look under the seat and see if you can spot a section of the seat cover that you can inspect the back. I believe a fabric backing will indicate Naugahide (synthetic leather). Another would be to query a local Auto Upholstry Repair Shop; they could advise you.
