Default How have you guys routed the power cable for a battery relocation.

I was wondering how people have routed power cables from the trunk to the engine bay. Thanks!

Come on guys...

Surly at least some of you have moved you battery or installed an amp in the trunk! Did you drill a new hole in the firewall or use an existing penetration to route the cables through the passenger compartment.

I want to do this mod, and I was going to use some of the existing grommet holes in the firewall to route the power wires thru the cabin.
Be frickin careful not to let 12v+ wires rub on sharp metal edges and things, and have everything fused really well. You really need to take care when routing big heavy wires like this thru the car.
