recommend a remote start for a 2001 accord ex v6 coupe at

is there a factory version?

if not, what the best brand that is compatible with the built in security system?

I don't know of any one that is compatible with factory alarm as far as starting with the factory remote. I would recommend the Viper, such as the 791VX. I have installed a lot of 790s and 791s with good results. The Prestige are decent too.

will that allow me to get rid of the factory remote and use just the viper one while preserving all the functionality? I dont want to carry around two remotes.
