Default Is there a difference between a non-vtec OEM air filter vs. a vtec OEM air filter

This is a clarification or a difference question....

is there any difference between a non-vtec air filter vs. a Vtec OEM air filter...

see I was at my Honda dealership...and saw that the two have different part numbers

and even different colors....

the non-vtec one was green
and
the vtec one was yellow

yet same price.....

does one perform better than the other? and funny enough both will fit in a EK air box...

my motor is a B20Z non-vtec motor running a OEM air intake box without the resonator.

I couldn't see there being a difference, since vtec doesn't have much to do with the intake... and I doubt one is more free flowing then others...
