You can regulate rich or lean with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Thats probably the cheapest way. But I've always been told that white smoke would be coolant not fuel which makes since because you just changed your head. Don't change the oil for a few miles and check to see if it looks like chocolate milk. That would tell you that you probably have a problem with your head gasket. You probably could get a leak down test done also. Good luck.

you are wrong...think before you give people bad info.
White smoke is coolant. Sounds like a headgasket problem to me, could have been put on backwards i guess.

This may be a long shot but I've seen this happen before. My brother changed his head gasket on his DA, it ran great for a couple of days and then the white smoke came back. At that point we decided to just pull the whole motor and do a rebuild. Well after we got the motor out and we were taking off the head we noticed that one of the head studs either came loose or we never tightened it all of the way. You might want take out the cams and check them.

those head bolts are supposed to be torqued to "yield" which means you need a torque wrench that is capable of up to 250 ft lbs.. check the manufacturer's specs

it could be alot of things, poor install, warped head, bad rings, or blown seals, hard to tell, but it's sounds like it's burning coolant. Take it to a repuitable shop if you can't figure it out your self. I had the same problem but i was building my engine found out the shop didn't know what they were doing and i was told they were good. Do your homework before it happens to someone else
see this is the thing if it a collant thing than why does it goe away after a while and now here its rainging and cold and wen i drive it doesnt happen wtf i dont get it

headgasket backwards lol, that's how you miss up dowel pins. Head would even go on, that means the car won't start. Don't think so..
