me and a couple of my buddies are planning on swapping out my blown h22 and dropping in another h22 in there. we will be doing the swap ourselves. we have some knowledge, we swapped out my buddie's old crx motor and dropped in a y7(nothing big but it was our first huge project).
you guys have any words for us apprentices? what kind of problems should we be prepared to face? we are swapping motor, tranny, and mounts.
any words of encouragement would be great.
f*ck all you flammers.

why are you changing out the tranny? There shouldn't be any problems, you're just swapping the same thing out. There will be no wiring issues (assuming you're using the same year motor). Good luck

tranny was no good to begin with. i think my old h22 block was a '94(the engine code begins with a 3) and my head is stamped '97. im getting my new motor from hmotors and they're h22's are from '92-'95 so in any case it will remain obd1 right?
