Default How do you connect your iPod to your S2k?

I've looked up IceLink, but am not completely satisfied with it. The official website for Dension IceLink doesn't specifically say that it'll work with Hondas, yet it lists a bunch of other car manufacturers that the unit is compatible with.

Please don't suggest FM transmitter or cassette tape adapter.

I want something more direct so the sound will justify the $$$ I spent on the iPod. Any suggestions?

FM Modulator...you can either buy one of the ones like the Griffin which plug into the top of the Ipod, or you can buy one that plugs right into your radio (factory) so you don't have to play with radio stations everytime and it sounds clearer without interruption. I sell those

the one the plugs into a factory radio will only work if it has an auxiliary input. Our factory radio's do not. I am not sure if they added it for the 06 but I know its not in the ap1's

You don't need an aux. input. The cable connects to the CD changer input or something like that. But the bad thing is, you also need to get power to your ipod either via cig light adapter or a hardwire. Either way, too much of a PITA for me. I just bought an MP3 compatible AM HU. /done

you could go to some car audio shop and have them make a kit for you. itll be a bit more expensive but itll be worth it, since it will sound and work better.

the fm transmitter works ok for me. its a pain to find stations. mainly because i know 2 stations where i live but then when i go into the city, they don't work well. so i have to find stations that work there and switch. i find that a pain in my case.

there is a website that does it and it has many options for how to hook it up....both FM transmitter and directly into the radio.

USA Spec, we use it in a lot of vehicles. It doesnt list S2000, but it should work.

yeah, i used one for about 10 months...and hated every month of it. only cool thing was i was able to use my ipod in my car, that was it. get a unit that integrates w/ the factory stereo...
ipod2car
densionice
and many others, i have the ipod2car...cd quality, control everything w/ ur dash controls, i got it for 100 bucks, but it sells for 200 @ bby...just spend it and you'll love it trust me, no more station hunting, and u can even hide the ipod away, and it charges it too ( i have mine installed in the glove box w/ the wiring running through their to the head unit, super slick install, and only takes about half an hour if you have tools)

you guys who recommend fm transmitters have **** for ears. i absolutely cannot stand the sound quality and interference presented by them, and i have tried many types.

what i've concluded to be the best option is an aftermarket headunit w/ a modifrys to retain your dash buttons, and an auxiliary control box.
