Default b18c1 questions

ok im going to be putting a b18c1 in my 91 STD. i just have a few questions.....
i want to turbo it and/or n2o

ok over all what is the General ammount that a swap costs.........
also is the b18c1 the GSR motor?
what ecu will i use.
what do i convert it to obd0, obd1 (have no clue what those are)
is the convert hard??
is this a good motor to rebuild because i will totaly rebuild it after i have it for a while.

thanks for any help. also if you have pics of a b18c1 in a crx or hatch please post em up because i would love to see them..........thanks for any help..

The price of that swap varies alot..What year motor you get, what tranny you use ,,what wiring you have to do and what ecu you use, shift linkage, motor mounts, labor costs,etc..
Yeah b18c1 is 94-01 gsr motor
I recomend using a Chipped p28 ecu with uberdata or something like that..The correct ecu with the gsr motor is p72..
OBD means On Board Diagnostics..88-91 is pre obd..92-95 is ob1 96+ is obd2..
You convert your car's engine harness to obd1..If you have no idea how to do this you can buy pre made obd1 conversion harnesses..rywire,hasport,etc..
Why would you want to rebuild the motor..?? They're pretty strong stock and can handle +300whp with good tuning

You just use a cable tranny and clutch on it.

heres a pic of the day i finished my gsr swap.

do not use nitrous in conjunction with boost. too much for a daily driver and this combinatin is mostly used to decrease turbo lag on high horsepower cars.

Locash offers great prices on simple pre-obd to obd1 conversion harnesses. i got everything from him including my distributor harness which allowed me to jump dizzy's by simply clipping the harness on. the ecu jumper is great along with the sub harness which is simple to install. plus you can pick up motor mounts, a shift linkage AND a hydro/cable conversion kit all in one order.
