Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers?

I have a straight pipe with a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler. Are those mufflers good? I want a straight through one, but I know it will be loud and if I put a resonator, won't it affect performance?

My freind had the dynomax cat back, and his muffler rusted out after 9 months. He liked it while it lasted.
