My gm boost solenoid stopped clicking when i turn on my car. Normally i would hear a loud clicking but recently it hasn't been doing so. Anyone know if these things die frequently? Is my gm boost solenoid died since i dont hear it clicking anymore?
Oh ya, and i was boosting around 1 bar on the street , but now i get half that which is around 0.5bar.
Thanks in advance..

it most likely died from being on all the time,i run mine on aem so it turns on at 2000 rpm,so it doesn't tick all the time...just my 2 cent.
The preset AEM settings are a min duty cycle of 10% and max of 85%, change those and configure your boost/duty map and/or your VSS map to keep the solenoid off at idle, etc...
