Hey, I tried searching FAQ's and forums briefly and google searched, but I came up empty handed and figured the best way to get an answer is ask you guys. Where near central Illinois (chicago, stl, indianapolis, etc.) can I buy an H23 motor for my 95 prelude? Thanks for any help.

There are salvage yards here but I looked everywhere for an H23a1 but never found one. You would probably be better off putting one together... If your crank broke, then buy a block from somone who snapped their timing belt.... or if you snapped your timing belt, buy a head from somone who broke their crank... Its a lot cheaper and you can see the condition of the things you are putting together and make it last longer by replacing seals and gaskets.

why does it have to be in IL? don't feel like traveling for a motor?

Why travel if you don't have to. I waited to find my H22 locally. WELL worth it.
