This has been covered more times than I care to look up. But, you do NOT need a camber kit. If you want one, thats another story. Go get your toe set to 0, and call it a day. With a 2.5" drop, you have what, 2.2* or so camber? Use the washer trick in the back (if you want), leave the front. I'm driving my Integra with 2.4/1.4 camber, and I'm not worried about tire wear. In fact, I have an Ingalls UCA mount "camber kit" that I'm using to get more camber. Check my sig, if you'd like to see a car with 4.75* rear camber, and there is absolutely no abnormal tire wear.
This is all just my opinion from reading, researching, and personal experience. Take it as you will.

thanks man..i know its been covered but like i said the mechanics said they can't adjust anything with out a camber kit. ha so all i have to do is tell them to set the toe at 0 and they will know what i'm talking about?
omni camber kits are good.
normally 2.5+ drops do need camber kits. you could always get the omni shim kit. cheap and effective.
PM me for more ?s on anything...

Shop around, you'll either
a. Find a shop that knows what they are talking about and know how to do their jobs, or
b. Find out that 99% of shops out there are in the business of lying their way into your pockets, and taking advantage of your lack of knowledge, so they will try and sell you stuff or services you don't need. Its hard to recoop the cost of a $20k worth of alignment equipment with $20 alignments.
Listen to this thread. We're not here to make money off of you. Well... they're not.

theres no reason why they cant adjust your toe without a camber kit.
they just believe the misconception that camber is responsible for "cambered" tire wear. so they dont think its useful to just change the toe and dont want to take responsiblity if you come back, or want to do an incomplete job. thats why theyre refusing i guess.
but really, the only adjustment from the factory is toe, so why would they think you MUST have a camber kit to do an alignment...
just go to another shop.
