I just put some UKDM seat foam and cloth onto some frames that i pulled from an 89 DX. I had to hack up the bottom foam to get it to even sit in the pan, since the seat pans I was using were for door mounted seat belts and they didn't have those in the UK. But it was just a minor amount of trimming, and i got them together fine. problem is it feels like i'm sitting too high. I looked at them, and there's about an inch or 2 of space between the foam and the bottom of the pan... like where those three big holes are in the bottom of the seat. it's been a while since i've looked at stock seats, and i have nothing to compare to. is that normal? or should the foam sit flush with the bottom?
