Motor mount question.. *yes i somewhat searched*
well guys, i found out today that the reason my car was vibrating at a stop was due to my front right "torque" mount being bad.. heres a pic i found on an archived post.

ok, so i go to my uncles work and he quotes me 50 to install, and about 50-60 for the "mount" he says.. but i've been hearing people say "use inserts".. in this field, i have no idea whats going on so i'll need your guys help on this.
i dont want to get new expensive mounts from performance name brands, just a simple replacement that will stop the vibrating.. this is a daily driver anyways..
what are my options here.. aside from going to a junk yard and picking up a mount for 100 bucks cuz these bastards charge up the *** for alot of weird ****...
i'll go snap a picture real quick of my mount (if header has cooled down) and show you guys the condition of the mount so you can give me a better solution to fixing this.
what would inserts do to benifit me from having to buy a whole new mount or however it goes.
sorry for the noobular questions here, i searched and came back with alot of results, but dont feel like filtering through all of them. thanx alot guys for your time and help! and excuse my laziness

ok guys, here are some pictures.. the first 2 you cant really see anything from, but the third picture, with the red circle.. show's where the mount (rubber im guessing?) is broken..

The inserts will make your car vibrate more but I, and lots of other people, use them on daily drivers and like them alot. If you like to shift fast and not granny shift all the time, these mounts are for you. It makes the car so much easier to shift once you get the inserts. But if you have an auto, i guess it wouldnt really matter either way. Mine were ripped, both of the torque mounts, and my car was so hard to shift and it was constantly bumping, shaking, and clunking. Installing those inserts made a huge difference for me. My one friend could never shift into 2nd fast w/o grinding a little bit and the inserts solved his problem entirely, his mounts werent even broke either (they had 70k mi on them).
I had the ES Inserts installed on my 90 Intgera RS along with brand new mounts,
yah it vibrates, but after two weeks its slightly less.
I say its worth it 100% But Go find someone who has them installed becuase,
Some say they dont like it.
IMO, I Love the ES Inserts.

another solution instead of buying the inserts, is to kinda make your own.
take the torque mount off, and center the bushing... fill with 'window weld'... search for it, its kinda like a silicone that turns hard. shouldn't be more than 10bux.
then again, ES inserts are a great price too

but whats the price difference between inserts.. and autozone, napa, etc. mount replacement or whatever..
see idk if those places would give me a whole mount.. and if so, what does that consist of (a whole mount replacement).. or if they give me the inserts and you kinda rebuild the mount.. thats what im kinda confused about
