what are my chances of finding a good used set? a&j has a set of new championship white ones for ~$350usd each w/centercaps... a little too much for my meager budget at the moment

 

honestly i havent seen many used sets around..they r pretty coveted. ur best bet might be to find some board members from Australia or UK, etc who are looking to get rid of their wheels..

I was having the same dilemma, and my findings were inconclusive.

 

Australian Type-r's have the same wheel design as the JDM's but in 15 inch only.

 

UK Spec ITR wheels are also JDM design but 15" only

 

Maybe the SSR Type-R's would suit your needs. I understand that you're trying to get everything back to OEM parts, but the SSR rims are hard to distinguish from the OEM Honda rims...it'll probably even accept the H centercap.
