have you tried a pre-test yet?
My b16a passed sniffer(smog check one) with a mugen chipped ecu
Main problem is the visual test, but if a shop passes your visual you can go from there on repairs to pass, such as: O2 sensor, catalytic converter or what not.
Many times when the motor is dropped the vacuum lines are not connected right and a shop will fail the visual if the lines are disconnected. post any more questions and i will help if i know what to do
