I bought the Thermal Arc 185. I received it the other day, but unfortunately, I had to go out of town for work. I'm back before the weekend, so I'm hoping to get material to make a cart. So far, I like what I see on it. I'll know more this weekend when I actually get to do some welding.

 

cool, im really leaning more towards it because the fact its alot smaller, can run off a 30 amp breaker at full blast and has adjustable frequency.

 

I still vote for the TA-185!!

had a 180sd traded up to the syncrowave 200 cant miss on this buy.

 

i have no experiance with the 200 .. but i personaly have the thermal arc 185ta .. and all i can say is its an amazing machine . all the hardware that comes with it is good stuff not cheapo crap. peadal , gas valve , lines , torch is ok could use and upgrade but works fine . the hi freq is awsome on the machine . ajustability is superb. u cant go wrong . well worht the price .

 

From my research, Thermal Arc has a lot of good reviews. I just need to $$$$ to purchase one.
