86 valve space

i need help to find out what the space between the valves and lifters on a 86 si. i looked int the haynes book but i just tells me how to set it and not wht to set it at. plz help

i dont know the spec but its called "valve lash", possibly check the index for that spec....

not the lash but the spacing between the lifter and the retainer.ne one know it think it is like 0.010 but not sure
