i pay appro 55$ for a 150 tank. imagine filling both up every week =T

 

Think I payed $225 for a 150cf tank, $50 to refill.

 

refill is about 48 i believe and the tanks are leased for one yr at a time
48 argon and for the mig the compressed 75%-25% mix is about 42 i believe but the prices change here often

you will find that filling a 330 is not going to be that much more. Much of the cost of a refill is the labor to do it. I pay about $52 for a 330 but it depends on the volume also and the individual retailers.

 

Gas is cheap, labor isn't. I don't do a lot of work so I only have 40cf bottles, cost me $22 each to refill. (Same price for 100%, 75/25, and tri-mix)

 

Argon is my 2nd highest "account" cost. The hurricanes didnt help much either, unless they are "gouging" me, but at one time this summer I was seeing $25 for a 330. I go through 2 per manifold on most days, but now the tank prices jumped to $50. Tons 0 Fun.

 

$30 for a 120cfu tank and $38 for a 330cfu tank. I rent each of those tanks for $4/month ($8 total)

yeah, we have 3 TIG machines running nonstop here and fill at least 2 tanks daily...
goes fast when you're backpurging everything.

 

Talked to the guy I know at my local welding store, he said he would give me a good discount cause I'm learning

i pay $36 for a 250cu-ft tank; its actually more like 300 cubes as they overfill them sometimes

I get free tanks and gas having an uncle that works for some gas/tank distrubtor is cool, knowing he can walk out of that place with any tank/gas no questions asked is scary.

 

Depends on hours, probably around 12 hours. This is for a full blown sidewinder, not something like a Mini-me. And ya, backpurging burns through the gas...

Isnt the atmostphere a certain percentage of argon?

 

For a 120 I pay about 40$

 

We own 5 250s. Avg cost is @ 28.50 a fill. We refill 2-3 a week.
