Default New cam, need change on v-afc ?

I have bought itr intake cam, i have a gs-r, its a simple bolt-on or i need to change the fuel delivery on my vafc ? Some people said the vtec on the gs-r is at 4400 rpm, but i never feel any vtec engagement at 4400, 5700 ok but not in the 4000 range ...is it just the secondary butterfly in the intake manifold open at 4400 ? Thank's

anything that changes the breathing characteristics of the engine would require you to retune the VAFC. 4400 is VTEC, 5800 is secondary intake runners.
