tranny interchangeability

anyone know if the trannys are the same for 2003 and 2004 s2k? the dealer is claiming they are different...and wont fit between the 2.
anyone have experience with these years and trannys?

it's different internally and at the flange.

to fit ap2 tranny on ap1, you need to remove the flange on ap2 and remove the flange from ap1 and put it there.
