1992 civic si hatch with a full body kit/intake/exhaust/short throw/rims and has about 100k on the engine. The guy is asking 4k so I'm sure i can get a bit lower, but what is was wondering is what do you think it could do with those mods from 0-60 and 1/4 mile? There are few imports where I live so this one caught my attention. Any input as to whether it's a good buy or not and the times I can hope to get out of it as it is. Thanks.

 

Dude, if you can get him down to about $3500-3000 I would say go for it and let us know how it goes.

If anything, the body kit takes away from the value of the car. I'd offer him $2500 for it, it's a Civic in the end not a Ferrari.

yea... lowball him.. its the true Honda tech spirit.. then most likely he will meet you at an asking price more reasonable to you

 

car is modified and you dont know his skill level or what to do if somethin is aftermarket 20k miles down the road. offer 2k, no more.
