i keep having a problem with my car not going into overdrive. I'm not sure why this is, but it seems like after I drive it for a while, the overdrive engages.

I have had several times though when it disengaged after driving for couple hours and then won't kick in again, no matter what speed or RPMs (constant /accelerating/deacceleating) the engine would run at.

Any ideas?

I've had this issue on my carburated 88 Accord also. Is this a problem with all Honda's?
