so i originally got a dropzone coilover-shock set, these things were rough. very bouncy but i didn't mind too much. had them on my eg for over a year. when i found out the my wife and i were pregnant i knew that i was going to have to make a change 'cause i didn't want my kid to die from shaken baby syndrome so i took off the coilovers and replaced them with tein s-techs and just kept the dropzone shocks. man what a difference. still pretty low only my kidnies arn't sore every time i get out of my car. yea there's a lot more body roll but not too bad plus my wife will acually ride in my car again.
LOL!
Thats a cool story. I understand about the harshness. I try to keep my civic mild so I can take my wife out for dinner & a movie in it.
If your are interested in reducing your new-found body roll while keeping the ride nice & smooth, I can suggest some Integra sway-bar kits (front & rear). Click here for a great place to buy salvaged parts...

cool man, thanks. i have aluminum lower control arms that are supossed to for 96-00 civics but i made em fit. these arms have holes for sway bars so maybe i sould get the sway bars for hte 96-00 civic?
Rear LCAs for an EK are almost an inch longer than EG/DC ones. I don't know what you did to fix them, but it doesn't sound right to me. If you are using EK lenght LCAs it's really going to mess up your toe settings & cause your bushings to wear out prematurly...
Also, a EG/DC swaybar won't work properly with those LCAs either. The mounting position is in a totaly different place on the EG/DC LCA because they use very differnt sway-bar end-links (not interchangable without custom bushings)...
I would remove those ASAP, but thats just me...

my bad, i should have said that the lca's are for the rear. only difference between the stocker and the ones that i put in(other than the new ones are alloy and have holes for the sway bar) are that the shock mount bushings in the new lca's are way thinner due to the fact that they are for a 96-00 civic shock. i just shimmed then up and they work perfect. i've had them on for over a year now and have had no abnormal tire wear and the car tracks straight and looks normal.
I was refering to the rear LCAs. If you don't notice any camber problems then your fine.
If you try to hook up an integra sway bar though, your going to find that the end-links won't reach your LCAs properly. There is a specific combonation of parts that will make it work, but it involves sourcing parts from various cars (99-00 Si endlinks) & aftermarket companies (A-Spec Racing spacers for Si endlinks).
If your interested in the details, let me know...
