s20 transmission inspection plate.
Does anyone have a picture of the inspection plate being mounted on to the tranmission. I don't have one, and I'm curious to see how it mounts up and what not. Thanks.
I dont have a pic but I can get one from my shop manual later if you want.
There are two studs on the oil pan rather then bolts, take the nuts off of those, and hold the plate up there and put them back on. Now there are two short bolts that hold the bottem of the plate against the transmission.
Pretty simple really.

I would appreciate it if you could post up a picture. Now, since it looks like we use an oil pan for support in this situation, is there such a thing as an 'automatic' and 'manual' transmission oil pan?
Did the automatic transmission have an inspection plate even?
